Log the ones that got away
Mark a fish raised, lost, boated or released. Every one of those — not just the ones that made it to the deck — captures the water it happened in: temperature, colour, height, habitat score, and the tide. A logbook that only wants the fish you landed throws away half the day. The model learns at least as much from the pulled hook and the fish that came up and looked.
Why you can check our work
Every morning we publish how far our sea-surface temperature sat from the NDBC buoys — a rolling seven days, buoy by buoy, on the days we're off as well as the days we're right. The outlook is published the same way: how far tomorrow's map drifted from what we measured when tomorrow arrived. No one else in offshore intelligence publishes an error rate at all. Judge us on it rather than on our word.

Every observed-ocean layer for the whole coast: weed lines, warm- and cold-core eddy pins, 30 m subsurface temperature, current flow, depth contours drawn where the shelf break actually is, the subsurface and forage signals — plus a daily ROFFS-style briefing for your region, six of them from the Gulf of Maine to the Gulf of Mexico, and a spot briefing a day.
Tournament — $499/year · the model's picks, and where they're going
Everything in Captain, plus the parts that are model output rather than observation: AI recommendation pins — the best water for all eight species, rebuilt every morning; Projected Drift, so you can see where today's eddies and edges will be tomorrow; the +2 and +3 day outlook to plan a whole tournament window before you leave the dock; ten spot briefings a day; and the species playbook — forage, hunting grounds, prime bite windows, spawning and NOAA HMS regulations. And one live feed that is not a prediction at all: live AIS vessel traffic — the commercial ships, draggers and longliners working the water around you, refreshed as often as every 30 minutes.
