Historical AIS accuracy sample

Vessel-balanced candidate effort compared with the habitat suitability available on the same historical date. The sample is privacy-safe: raw tracks, MMSI values, and position timestamps are not published.

This measures alignment between candidate AIS effort and BreakIQ habitat predictions. It does not identify fishing, prove species presence, or measure catches. An effort lift of 1.0 would mean candidate effort occupies prime habitat at the same rate that prime habitat is available; values below 1.0 indicate weaker-than-random alignment for this sample.
